I'm not much of a "Blogger", but this is one time I want everyone to know about!  We have a group of 36 people booked on this trip!  We start by flying to Barcelona, Spain, where we will board MSC Seaview for 7 luxurious nights!!
Seaview is the sister ship to MSC Seaside. We cruised with a group on Seaside in May, 2018! Fantastic ship!!
On this cruise, Seaview will take us to 3 ports in Italy, 2 ports in France and Palma de Mallorca, Spain! Then back to Barcelona, where we will transfer to a hotel in downtown Barcelona for 3 exciting nights there!
We have so many plans for these ports!
The plan is to return home June 4! Not promising we will!  Expect lots of pictures and posts from this trip!!
Be ready to join us in June, 2020 on our trip to cruise from Venice, Italy to Greece, Croatia, Albania and Bari, Italy!!

Discovered MSC CRUISES

We have discovered another cruise line besides Carnival.  Of course we've experienced most of the very visible lines.  But MSC is fairly new in the US!  At present they only have one ship in the states.  MSC Divina is docked in Miami. But, her sister ships have been cruising in the Mediterranean for years!  This is an Italian line and Divina definitely has the Mediterranean feel!  So far, we've done 2 10-night cruises on this ship!  It is my favorite, by far!  The newest MSC addition is coming to Miami in Dec, 2017!  Of course, we already have space held on her!  You really must give this ship a try!  Love, love, love it!  And MSC offers so much the other brands don't!  Like cruises with Kids under 17 FREE!  They pay only taxes!  Plus the kids' gratuities are discounted! Also, with a Fantastica cabin, in a group, everyone in the room receives a drink package! (12 drink vouchers each)  Later, I am getting packed for our next MSC cruise for 7 luxurious nights!!

PACKING FOR ALASKA

6/5/2015

How do I pack for Alaska Cruise!  One problem I have is figuring out what to wear!  Then how do I get it all in ONE suitcase???  Everyone teases me about taking lots of luggage when we cruise!  Well, when you have to fly and pay for each bag.....now what?  The average temps are supposed to be in the 60's with 15 - 20 hours of daylight daily!  Guess I don't need shorts & capris!  Wish me luck and look for LOTS of new pictures late next week!  I don't have one of the fancy phones to take & send pictures like all the younger folks!  Can't wait for my chocolate covered strawberries and NO COOKING!!

Getting more excited daily!  The other folks in our group have never flown before (we'll fly from Memphis to Seattle) and it's their first cruise!  This is going to be more fun than usual!!  One wants to do the Sea Plane excursion and all of us plan to do one of the Train excursions!  I just dread having to pack in ONE suitcase!!  I know we'll have lots of gorgeous pictures to share when we get home!

There's still a little time, if anyone wants to go with us!  The more the merrier! It's our first time on Carnival Legend!  Can't wait to explore on and off the ship!

Trying Something New

2/15/2015

As you can see, most of the cruises we block space on are out of New Orleans.  Occasionally we pick one from Florida, but there are only so many ports available from New Orleans or the Texas ports.  Well, we selected a gorgeous ship for two 10-night cruises.  These itineraries are never reached from our home port!  It's not a bad drive to Miami!  We take our time and have a favorite hotel to stay the night before cruising.  They include breakfast, free parking while cruising and shuttle service to the ship!
The only problem is, I can't decide which one to pick!  Well, they are about 2 months apart......
It's exciting to try something new occasionally!!
Cruising with 5 of our grandkids Mar 8 for their Spring Break!!
There's still a little time if you want to go with us to Alaska in June.....

It's count down time again!  Leaving on Carnival Dream Nov 30!  This time we'll have 7 "Rookies" in our group!  I absolutely love taking "first time cruisers"!  Of course, we know it is only a beginning for them!  We have lots of different cruises available with space held!  Check the "Cruise Deals" for info and fantastic pictures of each ship!  I wish we could go on all of them, but Don says we need to stay home occasionally!  The best way to cruise is getting together a small group of friends and relatives to go along!  You can save on your own cruise with the group discount
We will be on the Feb 1 and June 9 cruises, then Nov 4, 2015 for the Transatlantic!
Let us know when you're ready to travel!
We also have some fabulous Tour Companies to work with for US or Europe, Mexico and Canada!
Give us a call soon to book your relaxing vacation!

Well, I've been a bit lazy about posting on our website!  Sorry!  We had a fantastic cruise in January on Carnival Liberty!  That ship was so gorgeous, I just could have stayed forever!  We had a really great group of ladies with us and cruised the Eastern Caribbean.  San Juan, St Thomas and Grand Turk.  It's really fun seeing all these tropical places decorated for Christmas...

Now we're awaiting a "Seminar at Sea" cruise on Carnival Dream on May 18!  It will be our first cruise on the Dream.  You know I'll have pictures later!  You can all go with us in Nov on our next cruise on this ship!  Check out our "Deals" page.  We also have space on one in August, but we can't go with you on it.  Gotta stay home and feed the dog and cats once in a while.

I'll try to get a few pictures posted from our last 2 cruises soon.....

Hope to see y'all soon!

THE COUNTDOWN!!
Three more weeks!  We are getting more excited every day!  Have you ever tried to pack for 16-18 days in ONE suitcase?!!  And I am for sure taking at least 2 outfits in my "carry on"!  When flying transatlantic, you never know when or if you'll get your checked bags!!  But, I can't worry about that!!  Don says I can only take 2 pairs of shoes......Dream on!!  I'll figure out something!  Part of our group is presently on an Eastern Caribbean Cruise!  We'll have one of those about 3 weeks after our Transatlantic!  We plan on cruising and traveling until we can't get around!  If you don't have a positive attitude and believe you can do it, you will just sit home forever!
Packing and planning excursions!

ONLY 4 MORE WEEKS!!

Just 4 short weeks before we fly to Barcelona to start our 1st Transatlantic Cruise!  We opted to go a day early to give us a day in Barcelona!!  I just can't wait to see this city!
My Cardiologist says I'm good to go!  He even recommended some places we must visit!  Like Mercado de Boqueria  and  La Sagrada Familia!
After exhausting ourselves trying to see so much in one day, we board Carnival Sunshine for 16 fabulous days of exciting ports and leisurely cruising back to New Orleans!  Wonder how much weight I'll gain!!  Probably not much, cause I always get lost on the ships and end up walking twice as much as most folks!!  Good thing Don will be with me most of the time to keep me found!
Wish y'all could be with us!

GETTING READY TO CRUISE AGAIN!

I took a little time out for heart surgery.  But, I'm back and ready to travel!  It's almost time to pack for our Transatlantic Cruise from Barcelona, Spain back to New Orleans!  We are sooo excited!  The whole group is driving to New Orleans (we all live in MS, TN and AR), leaving our cars at the airport, flying to Barcelona!  We're going a day early, thanks to Carnival, we'll be staying in a beautiful hotel and exploring Barcelona for that day, then they transport us to the Carnival Sunshine the next day! Several of the folks in our group are agents from our company!  Now, you know it's a fantastic trip if the agents are going!!
Like I've said before, we can't make any money as travel agents, cause we keep traveling with our groups!!  But, we only discovered cruising after we were in our 50's (late 50's), so we're still trying to get everything in before we get too old to go!!
Then 3 weeks after we get home from the transatlantic, we're going with our group Dec 7!  Love San Juan!
I'll keep you posted with pictures and messages on Facebook and this site!
